-- INSTALLATION ---------------------------------------------------
Extract all files into your Maps folder in your Unreal or UT install.

To play: For UT, use Oldskool menu.

For Unreal, open the console using tilde (~) key.
Type open u0cats2 and enter. Hit ~ again to clear the console.
For different skill from medium, start a regular game first to set, or add to the command
line, for example: open u0cats2?difficulty=0 for easy.

Walk through the teleport and be ready to fight!

Versions indicated by zipfile name only: u0cats2=226, u0cats2u=225, u0cats2ut=UT music
Unreal music tracks (Unreal version): Fifth, Fourth, Guardian, Hub2, Seti, SkyTwn, Unreal4, UTemple, Warlord
UT music tracks (UT music version): Cannon, Colossus, Course, Ending, Enigma, Foregone, Seeker, Skyward, Strider, UnWorld2
All needed file(name)s must be present for the level to run at all.

-- CATS MICRO-EPISODE --------------------------------------------
This level can be played as standalone or as a continuation of the level Cat Bombs. For
standalone, 3 weapons are given immediately, with representative ammo; the other three Cat
Bombs weapons may be found near the start. Of course, as a continuation, starting stats
depend on how you do on the first level (+20 health is added). UT note: for u0cats_b2 version,
turn backwards at the end for the end teleporter to work right, this is fixed in the b3 version.

To play as a continuation, simply complete Cat Bombs with Cats 2 installed -- the transition
will bypass the standalone start area.

-- STORY ---------------------------------------------------------
Ever since the appearance of the Cat Bombs (what else would you call those things?), so
much has changed. I guess the enemy factions found on these planets think the Cats are
helping us. I'm not so sure. Anyway, the Skaarj and all the others seem to be everywhere.
Even the Queens are reduced to living like wild animals. Fortunately, their prior
superhuman strength is gone, since their numbers more than make up for the difference.
They seem to get along okay until humans show up. Then whey try to kill everything, especially
me. I've just got places to go, Nali to save, oppressors to kill, you know ...

--MAP NOTES---------------------------------------------------
1. Note on difficulty: Unreal automatically increases enemy AI difficulty with increasing difficulty
settings. This has an exaggerated effect in Unreal Zero, which increases the spread between the
difficulty settings. Medium would be considered Hard in some other games.
  Diff. Unreal Un.Zero
  ----- ------ -------
0 Easy Moderate Not hard but still very active
1 Medium Normal As hard as originally intended
2 Hard Very Hard Cats 2: one step short of insane. Cat Bombs: 1/2 step
    3 Unreal ??? masochists only

Creatures: over 200. Typical Kills: 185-190.

2. Specific Tips: You fight several times in the main outdoor area, probably should save some
powerups. Be careful that maximum ammo limits do not prevent you from using all the ammo in
the side areas. If you run short of ammo at the end, draw out the enemy one by one with the
dispersion pistol, finish them off and take their weapons. If you only have short range weapons,
use the DP for all long range.

3. General Tips: Be prepared to grab lots of powerups when tough (berry plant is health too).
Clear all areas before proceeding. Get some use from the dispersion pistol when things cool down.
Secondary fire: note the difference is often more with the enemy response than the weapon itself.

4. Cheats: In Unreal, a good subtle difficulty adjuster is the SUMMON command (doesn't work in UT):
summon health, flakcannon, etc. Also god (toggles) and ghost ("walk" to cancel), UT mutators
-- ruins the game though, and spoilers possible on ghost.
