Background
----------

The harsh, arctic climes of Arcturus Gamma Seven was not the ideal place to build a colony, but the rich deposit of minerals nestled beneath the surface was enough to convince the Liandri Corporation that expanding their burgeoning natural resources operation into this sector would be a sensible idea. 

Faced with incredible hardships, both from the forces of mother nature and the cruelty of their overseers, the miners endured through deprivation and toil, their spirits broken in this most hostile of environments. In the end, it was not at all a surprise that some men cracked under the pressure of living and working under such extreme conditions. Angered, depressed and out of control, they took their frustrations out on the only thing they could: themselves.

Friend against friend, comrade against comrade. In the war to survive, there can be no second place.


Author's Notes
--------------

Slap-dash 1-on-1 level I threw together on a whim, building up from a small, unfinished map I had started on. Made mostly in UEd 2.0 for UT, I ported it back (with accompanying textures) for the original Unreal... still my favourite online game. Thought the UT and RichRig textures would help spice up Unreal's fairly bland texture set... these textures are packaged with the map in MyLevel.
